Tiga, while i do find to story interesting, felt like it pushed all of the interesting bits to the very end, leaving a lot of the episode to be the usual "monster of the week" scenario with The Final Odyssey having all of the things that i found intrresting about Tiga. So this is starting out kind of difficult since, while tiga does have a story in the series, it's not really focused on until episode 43 onward, then later with The Final Odyssey, whereas Trigger decides to have its story be mainly inspired by The Final Odyssey, with its own original elements. well i'll leave the last one as a suprise. So i'm going to be dividing this debate into 5 categories: Story, Characters, Pacing, Action and. If you disagree with my points, that is completely fine, hell i actually want to see if people agree or disagree with me on certain points, all i ask is to be polite. However before we get started i want to make this very clearfrom the start: THIS IS ENTIERLY SUBJECTIVE. To say that Trigger is a homage to Tiga is the equivalent to saying water is wet, everyone knows this already, but why not contsrast each of them to see where they succeded and where they fail. at first, but later i realized that, instead of just giving my thoughts on it regularly, i would try something different. i wanted to give my general thoughts on it. At the time of me wirting this Ultraman Trigger's finale just aired and, with it now complete.
